Detailed functions

Workflow management and approvals

View workflows as lists or diagrams. Associate workflows with forms created in the form designer and construct graphical flows without typing their structure. Manage approvals using these forms and view pending tasks and monitoring information. Create an approval from an existing template; process, delegate or export pending work; inspect steps and diagrams; and query submitted work for handling, delegation, viewing, comments or export.

Work plans

Create plans with participating departments and personnel. Classify weekly, monthly and annual plans for coordinated management.

Office supplies, vehicles and assets

Centralize office-supply records and issue approvals, set stock-warning thresholds and inspect stock levels. Vehicle functions cover requests, usage enquiries and management, maintenance, vehicle details, drivers/personnel and vehicle types. Fixed-asset management helps account for assets and their wear or consumption.

Messages, email and circulation

Internal-message details remain available when pop-up notifications are disabled. Internal mail provides immediate communication, inboxes and sent-message records. External mail can bind an external account for sending and receiving within OA. Document circulation allows authorized recipients to read documents and provide comments and suggestions.

Personnel and attendance

Register and centrally manage employees, their information and employment contracts. Authorized staff approve attendance requests before business trips, overtime, leave and related activities proceed. Paperless requests, approvals and attendance statistics simplify administration.

Payroll

Manage salary entry, approval, job-category names, calculation methods, rates and piece-rate payments. Configurable payroll rules connect individual pay records and piecework payments to reduce administrative work and errors.

Training and rewards/discipline

Manage trainees and training projects centrally, retaining records for subsequent employee training.

Customers, sales and suppliers

Integrated CRM functions include customer information, interaction history, service, reassignment, care, follow-up, complaints and satisfaction surveys. Sales management separates contracts and sales records and centrally stores searchable contract numbers, types and amounts. Supplier records include detailed information, contacts and products, with authorized creation, deletion, editing and enquiries.

Extension functions listed

  • Two-way SMS supports sending and receiving through the connected messaging hardware/service arrangement.
  • Graphical workflows, conditions, branches and attachment permissions.
  • Electronic stamps in web forms.
  • Custom workflow document numbers and write permissions.
  • Copy/reuse workflows to reduce setup work.

  • Preconfigured and temporary delegation.
  • Direct reuse of news-content templates.
  • Multi-branch, multi-department and hierarchical viewing permissions for large organizations and groups.

Characteristics described for A6

Installation: A6 supports Windows 2000/XP/2003 server platforms and a selectable installation path, with a streamlined installation process advertised at 30 seconds.

Remote work: a B/S architecture requires only a browser on the client and supports intranet/Internet use while travelling or working from home.

Communication: real-time messaging supports documents, notices and colleague-to-colleague contact. Cost: economical deployment supports efficiency improvements.

Security: web-based enterprise computing, distributed storage and backup tools support reliable operation and data protection in A6.

Further office functions

Department/company notices: view internal notices such as meeting announcements. With pop-ups enabled, notifications appear at login or on the workbench.

Calendar: calendar and list modes. Select a date, enter an event/reminder and see that date marked with a different colour; list mode shows arrangements by date.

Contacts: company, personal and public address books, plus contact categories.

Personal file cabinet: organize personal files for upload, download and enquiry from different locations, with access limited to the owner.

Jinher C6 collaboration-platform concept

Jinher C6 combines precision management with six elements: Culture, Communication, Collaboration, Creation, Control and Center, forming a structured, integrated and responsive management platform.

  1. Culture: corporate culture supports team strength and identity; C6 is described as providing several tools for its development.
  2. Communication: paging, email, SMS and work collaboration support team communication and efficiency.
  3. Collaboration: modern work depends on teams; configurable workflows and form-design tools adapt collaboration to business needs.
  4. Creation: accumulated organizational knowledge supports application and innovation, with C6 designed around human and organizational characteristics.
  5. Control: decompose plans into tasks/projects and monitor progress so strategies and objectives are executed.
  6. Center: team efficiency alone does not ensure company efficiency. A unified workbench brings enterprise systems, including non-Jinher applications, into one view with analysis to support senior management.

Business collaboration

Business collaboration links internal collaboration software with ERP and existing business systems. It connects internal and external operations and brings business applications into a unified platform while preserving the enterprise’s established business model.
