Industry ERP Planning and Integration

Zhiyuan collaborative ERP is a configurable platform for lean production and detailed enterprise management, oriented around process control and collaboration inside and outside the enterprise. It combines customer relationship management, supply-chain management, planning and manufacturing, finance, human resources and business intelligence, with configurations tailored to different industries.

1. Improve business processes

A configurable platform modularizes business functions and standardizes interfaces. Users can arrange and combine workflows to suit their requirements and improve existing processes.

2. Improve process execution through collaboration

The built-in collaboration engine actively sends business information to the next designated role through email, SMS and other channels. This connects roles, departments, suppliers and customers and helps processes proceed as intended.

3. Reduce costs through detailed control

Detailed management aims to establish a cost advantage. Material-loss control distinguishes fixed losses and quantity-dependent losses for different products and production quantities. Extra materials issued to a workshop, such as special packaging materials, can be monitored, automatically backflushed against orders and reassigned to new orders. Engineering change notices (ECNs) can be applied to defined object ranges and categories, switching after existing stock is used up or automatically at an effective time to limit change-related losses.

4. Configurable ERP workflows

Add and configure modules, add enquiries and reports through query scripts, define workflows and customize operating windows.

Add functional modules

When an existing function does not meet requirements, an authorized user can add a module through document/business management rather than modifying the ERP application or commissioning secondary development. Configuration tools simplify setup while keeping module administration under authorized control.

WorkflowDesigner

When a business process changes, the workflow designer can be adjusted without changing the software itself. For example, when an after-sales department is created: first add “after-sales returns management” and “after-sales shipment management” to the document/business-process module; then create an after-sales workflow in WorkflowDesigner so that an after-sales receipt can lead directly to an after-sales shipment. The WorkflowDesigner screen shows the process layout.

Customize business windows

  1. Adjust header-field widths and names to suit the business.
  2. Remove unnecessary header fields.
  3. Add other fields.

These changes require appropriate permissions.

Customize enquiries and reports

New business modules require corresponding analysis. After adding after-sales receipts and shipments, users may need detailed or aggregate reports showing products received, products shipped and outstanding returns owed to individual customers. A query function can be added in the query-management window. The query window shows business items on the left, query schemes at the upper right and the associated script at the lower right. It describes almost 20 built-in query schemes. Additional requirements can be met by adding a scripted query scheme. Once statistical objects and measures are configured, the system generates the corresponding trend charts.
